Two decades of marketing automation

Context

An 18-plus-year partnership, Teleion's first and longest-running engagement. It began as the sole supplier building a closed-loop database marketing system across email, direct mail, and phone, and expanded over time across marketing, sales, and operations for a global technology advertising business.

The challenge

Early campaign development was fragmented and slow, with a roughly nine-month cycle. More recently, operations users and project managers prototyping with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude (and vibe coding) had no secure, compliant path to production, no hosting, auth, security and privacy review, monitoring, support, or change management, so promising prototypes stalled.

Campaign cycle time fell from roughly nine months to about two weeks, and AI tools now reach production in days rather than weeks or months. Repeated security and privacy reviews are streamlined or eliminated for approved patterns, the model scales to serve roughly a hundred users, the creative remains industry-recognized, and measurement certification is sustained.
